I know there is another section that has Tri-Tips in the description, but these were grilled, not smoked so... I don't think I've posted these here before.

Did these last Friday. Simply seasoned with coarse salt, fresh cracked black pepper and a bit of garlic and grilled. Took 'em off when they felt right... Sliced one for a simple dinner of baked tater, fried corn on the cob and a simple salad. Gonna slice the other one later in the week for my version of a Philly style turns french dip sandwich concoction.

Didn't get any pics of the salad, but...
 
Tri Tip is one of my favorite cuts. Smoked or grilled using red oak, it is very tender and juicy. Enjoy my friend. Looks like you did a nice job of trimming it, congrats on a great grill.
