Started off on the pig sticker in the picture and the wood caught a big flame so I had to reach in and grab it out of there cause it was on fire. The edges got seared along with the hair on one of my arms lol --- moved it right over to the pan with a liter of apple juice and bottle of sam adams oct fest inside. The searing didnt matter, it cooked for the next 5 1/2 about and came out great, lil dry not bad on the breast but gravy man fixs all, with the gravy juicy smoky and freakin tasty,,,, oh used a mix of hickory chunks and apple chips.
