I'm from Dayton Ohio where I ate a lot Pulled pork and ribs from Black rib joints, They had a hot sauce that wasn't sweet and it was thin . Does anyone have any idea what the recipe would be? Thanks
A vinegar based sauce, no doubt... N. carolina style would be my guess.
Mustard, red pepper, black pepper, kosher salt and cider vinegar. Perhaps a bit of starch thickening.
