I have been so busy here at work and at home that I just haven't had the time to log on, it's been one whole month since I last logged on. and I am taking off for Montana to do a little fishing and hunting Early Sat Morning so I won't be on-line for another week.
Lots of things happening, Got a job offer in Montana and one of the things I will be doing in Montana is spending the day at this job to see if I want to take it or not. As of right now I am 90% sure I will take the job, just need to iron out a few details.
Got my deck built finally, it sure takes a long time when the guys that promised to help you don't show up when they say they are going to, if they show up at all!!!!
I did get some deer jerky and buffalo jerky made this summer, and some pepperoni sticks, but I haven't fired up the smoker but once since the first part of August, and that was to smoke a fatty to take out to the duck blind for breakfast. My duck hunting partners sure loved that Fatty.
I did buy an old single door commercial freezer that I was going to convert into a smoker but just couldn't find the time, If I had a garage, I could convert it this winter but it is too cold here in Minnesota to work outside in the wintertime...( Rather be ice fishing)
