Not all that new to smoking. I've been in the US Army for 7 years an started my adventure in Fairbanks, Alaska smoking Baby Back Ribs on a gas grill when it was -30. I then PCSed to Fort Hood, Texas and had to learn how to cook in regular people temperatures. I've since expanded my smoking from baby back ribs to jerky to chicken. I've also been recently toying with making BBQ sauce. I'm currently working on getting my skills back since I returned recently from my second deployment to Afghanistan. Nice to meet everyone by the way.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a cloudy, cool and rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.

Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
