Just bought a prime packer brisket from the local H.E.B. and I thought I would post on here to see what some people's experience was with prime briskets. I want to make the most of it, since they don't always have such a high grade of beef around town. Any suggestions on the best way to smoke it? (Rubs, foil/no foil, etc. ) I have an Old Country BBQ Pits Over and Under with your traditional firebox. I have smoked several briskets so far and all have turned out good, but I would like to hear some experts opinions on prime beef specifically.
