So today I decided to smoke mini bacon bombs for tonight's dinner.
This is my first Qview and I remembered to do it after I had done all the prep so I'm missing a couple pix but I'll make sure to get the money shot! :-)
Started out with 3 lbs of 80/20 ground chuck. Seasoned it up with my own rub, bread crumbs, 3 eggs, and my fav bbq sauce. Once mixed I scooped up 1/2 cup of the mixture and stuffed it with 1/2 of a mozzarella cheese stick(aka string cheese) and wrapped in bacon, then more of my rub on top.
Just put it in my MES 30 at 250* thinking it'll probably go for about 2-3 hours. Also, I'm using a Char-Broil smoker tube, that I got at target for only $10, filled with a mix of mesquite and hickory for smoke flavoring instead of the chip tray.
