Wanted to introduce myself to the forum.  Married for 11, father of 2.  Just bought a 30" Masterbuilt electric and looking to learn more.  First planned project is a 4lb pork loin.  Start small Thumbs Up.  Anyways, look forward to learning and listening from everyone who wants to offer advice.  Thanks for your time!

Welcome to SMF! Glad to have you with us! Sometimes a pork loin can be a little difficult to smoke. They tend to dry out easily. You may want to wrap it in bacon to keep it moist. Also don't overcook it. I would pull it out of the smoker at 140. Then let it rest with a foil cover for 20-30 minutes. The carryover cooking will get it up to 145, which is safe for pork. Good luck & let us  know how it turns out.

Will do Al. Those were my exact plans on letting it rest after 140
