Hello everyone. About 2 years ago I had a smoker loaded up in the cart at Home Depot but never made it to checkout. Fast forward to September. My wife decided to surprise me with a 30in Masterbuilt for my Birthday. I was very excited because I have wanted on for so long. All I can say is she is AWESOME. So, once I got my smoker built I came here and stalked the stickys fo figure out what I was doing. I successfully smoked 2 8lb butts for my birthday and have since done several more. A few weeks ago I bought an AMNPS and have one smoke under my belt with it. The second smoke with it is in progress right now. So far I am very happy with the purchases that my wife and I have made. I want to thank all of you in advance for the wealth of information found on this forum.

Thanks. I live in Loganville. I forgot to post why I titled this lazy new guy. The first smoke I did was a Boston butt and I put a lot of work into it. I did almost everything you can do to that butt besides injecting it. Now I just rub it the night before and put it in the smoker 24hrs later. The AMNPS has made me lazy. Now all I have to do is wait until the temp hits 200. It seems that keeping it simple has resulted in great results. The pellet smoker is such a great product at an excellent price. It is a quality product built to last a lifetime. My father also has a Masterbuilt (40inch) and I have turned him on to the AMNPS.

JP I forgot to all the people on here are friendly,check out the MES Group forum. I have the MES 40 and I have a Mini. Working on making a mini for my son X-Mas gift.
