Saturday Snack

Cooked a little snack for my buddies daughters wedding.

A bunch of tri tip and 6 yard birds. Tri Tip had SPOG then a sprinkle of my rub. Chicken had just my rub.




Here is the tri tip resting.

Here is a picture of the chicken but sadly it was really blurry.

What temperature did you cook at? How was the chicken skin, crispy? Any issues with doing chicken and tri tip at the same time?

I ran the smoker around 325. No issues doing both at the same time. I did them for about 2 hours and the TT were done. The chicken I knew wouldn't be dont yet so I finished on a hot grill. If I would have finished on the smoker the skin would have still turned out nice and crisp.
