What temperature did you cook at? How was the chicken skin, crispy? Any issues with doing chicken and tri tip at the same time?
I ran the smoker around 325. No issues doing both at the same time. I did them for about 2 hours and the TT were done. The chicken I knew wouldn't be dont yet so I finished on a hot grill. If I would have finished on the smoker the skin would have still turned out nice and crisp.
