Bacon Wrapped Pineapple with Char Siu Glaze

 

As always, I start with fresh fruit, cut into bite sized pieces...

 

  

 

 

 

...wrapped with locally smoked, thick, applewood bacon and secured with a toothpick...

...placed into my perforated grill pan on the lower grate...

 

  

 

 

 

...couple of hours in the smoke...

 

 

 

 

...and a quick, light brushing of my homemade char siu glaze...

 

 

 

 

...and ready to eat...
