New Guy In TX

Thread Starter

I'm Mark, a long retired Marine hence the 1775 after my initials. I'm new to the SMF but have been using Jeff's recipes for well over a two years, I finally bought the recipe's for his rubs and after making a few small changes they are great. I'm an Egg Head but I also have a side by side that doesn't get used much at the ranch. I enjoy the creativity that the comes with smoking meat or grilling on the BGE. I did the Cream Cheese Jalapeno Chicken Breast for the family yesterday for my wife's birthday and it was spectacular. I got lots of you need to add that one to the rotation.

Welcome from SC, Mark. First, thank you for your service. Then, I hope you will enjoy this site. It sounds like you have made a good start. You have lots of folks here that will share ideas, tips, recipes and anything else that you need. All you have to do is ask. Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
