Hi, I'm Dennis. I found this site by Googling for smoking tips for my new Char-Broil propane smoker.
I've done two smokes so far: beef ribs and pulled pork; and sinned both times by not taking pics :-(. The ribs were held back by my inability to remove the silver skin. In spite of that, the flavor was OK. The pulled pork, I'd say was fantastic. Beautiful black bark (again, I'm kicking myself for no pics) and a great smoke ring. The flavor was subtle and on point.
I got into smoking by wanting to re-create some delicious barbecue I've had at different family get-togethers.
This looks like a great community and I'm eager to start documenting my cooks and sharing them with you all.
