Living in Ontario,Canada has its perks, the cool weather just calls for smoke in the air. So recently I explored and found a cheap master chef vertical. I took my time and did some homework and applied all the theory.
Wow, Wow, Wow I am hooked!!
Bacon wrapped Chicken, smoked with Charcoal and Mesquite chips. What a delight. Looking forward to this new found passion.
Although the temp hit a max of only 215• was wondering if I had not enough charcoal or possibly the air flow.
But I think this is going to be fun to figure out this summer. Feel free to drop a line.

So today was my little boys bday. He asked me for some chicken and surely you know where my mind went...lol!
Get the charcoal son......i will take care of the rest.
Smoked a chicken wrapped with bacon....Applewood chips and sprayed it thru the 5 hour session.
Incredible results......managed to keep heat at 220 relatively easy.
The smell was amazing.......my boy absolutely filled his plate and face so quickly.....his first reaction was worth the effort. Dad he says....your the best.
At this point......that's where I meat beer...lol!
