Wife made some chili last night. It's colder than cold and I wanted a grilled cheese. So why not combine the leftover chili with the grilled cheese and have one great Sandwee!!!

Rollers bread Smoked Tillamook cheddar and the wife's chili,, wash down with a beer, OH Yeah!!!

I know that's what I was thinking! I was just going to have a bowl on the side, then I thought, why have to clean a bowl and a plate!

Just be glad we didn't do a fish chili! Up here in the PNW we like to break the rules!

These pie makers you put buttered bread in, fill with your filling of choice ( in my case cheese and chili) and cook over the fire.

Ah pie iron sandwees! Yep we do those camping and at home too, over the mini-WSM. My boys like to make pizza sandwees with them. They also make fast order s'mores!

Mmm... You know, after our "social gatherings" in this college town, we like to stop by and pick up a grilled cheese mac'n cheese with bacon sandwich at a donut truck set up out back.  Adding chili to that just sounds really good right now...   :drool

Can't go wrong adding Chili! Back when was in college we had a great place that had some tasty chili cheese fries. But they sometimes closed so the next best bet was 7-11 and the chili cheese dogs and nachos. Couple 40's of Rainer ale "AKA GREEN DEATH" and you could choke the Sevey food down, lol!

Case that looks great, the bread looks like it doesn't need anything on it, I have to try that some day.
