Made up 5 pounds of 90% lean burger into meatloaf and meatballs this afternoon. After getting everything on the trays for cooking, I had enough burger left to make a healthy sized patty, so on the smoker it went along with the loaf and meatballs.
took it to 160° IT, pulled it, added a slice of cheddar, nuked it for 20 seconds to melt the cheese and dug in! Kinda weird tasting meatloaf flavors in a hamburger, but not too danged shabby! At least the excess burger didn't go to waste and the experiment was a success
