One thing that is better is when people change a recipe a bit and make it even better! I am really anxious to hear how your variation comes out and I am looking forward to the post.
Making a rack of these tomorrow! Going to do a traditional rack of KC rubbed and then do these bad boys. I gave them a light rub with my normal rub, but before that I used a little cinnamon/sugar combo. As many know, that tends to be the 'secret' ingredient to some people's delicious creations and I thought the sweet flavor couldn't hurt with the fact that I'm adding maple glaze!
I am hoping to post some Q View tomorrow while i'm in the process. I take the 2-2-1 route with an Electric smoker. I'll let ya'll know how it comes out!
Does it get any better than a fall day with smoke rollin and some sort of delicious meat inside!? Man, i'm excited for fall, that's my real smoking season!
Thanks so much for the kind words. I hope you enjoy it!
I just came across your Maple Glazed Ribs. I'm a sucker for any pork with maple/brown sugar mix and anything else to enhance the flavor. Can't wait to fire the grill up. It's getting a little cooler here now in Minnesota but still hope to have a couple good months of grilling season yet this year. Thanks for posting your recipe.
They were good! You could put maple syrup on a flip flop and I'd eat it! Looking forward to seeing those ribs.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope you like them as much as we do.
Disco - those sound and look amazing. Maple glazed ribs just took a very high spot on my list of things to try.
