I've been using Jeff's rub and BBQ sauce now for about two years, this past weekend I smoked a 8 LB pork loin.  Sunday morning when my daughter got into the refrig she saw Jeff's sauce that I made late Saturday and she was ecstatic and said Dad you made your BBQ sauce.  All four daughters and my wife prefer Jeff's rub and BBQ sauce.  At this time I'm using an old Colman electric smoker with a new element and controller.  Here is a funny story about this smoker, when it was given to me I was told that every once in a while it would trip the breaker which it did several times on me.  I gave up and put it in the garage where it sat for a couple of years, long story short who ever put this smoker together had the element upside down.  I smoked my first brisket two weeks ago using Jeff's brisket recipe with the meat broth, this brisket fell apart just like a pork butt and the burnt ends were a hit.  Thank you Jeff I now have a hobby that not only I can enjoy but everyone else that gets to eat what I smoke.

I live in Iowa,

Gary
