Have been grilling for many years here in Vancouver, Canada and decided it was time to up my game and get a smoker, so after lots of research realized I'd start with an electric and got a Smokin-it Model #1.  Have been having fun with the West Coast Salmon and the various assortments of ribs and roasts.  Then got hooked on making bacon and smoking bourbon so am diving head first into it, but wanted to get some 'expert' opinions and different recipes/techniques, especially for the bacon. Looking forward to perusing them all here on the forums.

I haven't seen much on here on smoking bourbon so once I've got my third batch done, I'll share what I've been doing.  Welcome any and all advice.

Hello fellow BC resident. I am relatively new to smoking and this forum has helped so much. There is a wealth of information in the posts and the members are very generous with their experience. I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I have.
