Here's my first batch of OAKRIDGE BBQ habanero death dust wings. Absolutely outstanding and were a huge hit at the party. Although they were too hot for some folks. I only used about 4 oz of the rub mixed with some Garlic powder and S/P.

Nothing to complex jfoses. Just slathered some olive oil on them then put salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then generously applied some mad hunky habanero death dust. Smoked em for about an hour then spritzed em with some apple cider vinegar then flipped em an d dusted them again and smoked em for another hour to an internal temp of around 160-170.

Love me some hot hot wings.............. Those look great...........

Thanks.  I thought the death dust was a homemade rub, didn't realize its a commercial rub.  The hotter the better for me so i may have to buy some of this death dust to go with my habanero wing sauce i generally make.

Looks very tasty!
"Habanero Death Dust", I love that name! I once had a golf club called "The Death Stick", it was piece of crap, but I used it simply because of its name. :-) Going to have to try these, love me some heat!

Habanero wing sauce you say???? Any chance a fella could get the recipe for that?
I loosely follow this recipe.

1 (12 ounce) bottle red hot sauce (Frank's or Durkee's)
1/2-1 cup butter
1 lime, juice of
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, minced
2 tablespoons fresh horseradish (NOT horseradish sauce)
1 tablespoon mustard powder
2 jalapenos or 2 serranos, minced
1 habanero, minced
3/4 teaspoon cayenne
3/4 teaspoon hot paprika
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
coarsely ground black pepper
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:
1
Saute onion and garlic in a small amount of butter just till aromatic.
2
Remove from heat.
3
Add remaining butter and melt over low heat.
4
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5-10 minutes .
5
This sauce can stay over very low heat for a long time; the longer it sits, the hotter it will be.
