So I had some shelled pecan halves laying around.  The smoker wasn't busy and I had some time so...

Three hours at about 180 in apple wood smoke.  They don't look any different but the taste is amazing! 

I REALLY want to try some with pecan smoke.

Like I said, they don't look any different than unsmoked pecan halves,  Taste very different.
