Hello everyone,

I am from Moose Lake. I have been happily married for 18 years. I have 5 children. I recently retired from the military after 27 years and 2 tours overseas one for OIF and the other OEF. I love to hunt and fish but don't get to do as much as I would like as the kids are involved in so many activities. Mostly year round hockey. So when I do get to hunt or fish I would love to be able to learn the finer points of smoking the meat or fish I bring home. My wife bought me a Masterbuilt electric smoker for my birthday last summer and I have only attempted smoking chicken once. Would love to learn as much as I can from all of you. Thanks and I am looking forward to this!

Welcome aboard, Stinger!  Glad you found us.  It sounds like you keep busy chasin' the young ones, but when you find time to smoke, you'll find lots of friendly folks and useful tips here on the forums.
