Belle Chasse, LA
Hello SMF,

My name is Joshua and I currently live in Belle Chasse, LA compliments of the U.S. Marine Corps.  I am originally from Spring, TX and have loved smoked meats i.e. brisket all my life but have never attempted to smoke a brisket on my own.  Before moving to Louisiana I lived in Fort Worth, TX for three years and while living there had a friend that would come over on the weekends and we would spend all day hanging out and smoking a brisket or pork shoulder. While doing this my friend would always take the lead and did such a great job that I just left well enough alone. Well now I am by myself and would like to have some delicious Texas BBQ at my house so I purchased a Char-Griller Trio to get started.  Just through reading this SMF forum I have already learned more than I could have on my own and have more confidence on my future smoking endeavors with the help of fellow BBQ enthusiast.  My goal is to produce some quality smoke products while also creating lasting memories that will bring me and my family closer together while learning and enjoying the delicious art of BBQ.
