Hi all,  I just found your website today looking for some tips, and spent the last 3 hours reading all kinds of great stuff.  I have smoked on a Homemade cast iron Pig of a smoker with limited sucess.  Then I bought a 30" masterbuilt electric about 4 years ago, and I was having really good sucess.  After that one STB I recieved a new 40" masterbuilt for Christmas this year and have been having some fun.  I would say I am a novice weekender, but I have produced some really good meats.  Mainly pork ribs, chickens, turkey breast, pork roast, and brisket, but my best by far is my Hickory Prime Rib.

I live in North Dakota so my smoker does not leave the garage much.  I have some mods planned with my new smoker, to combine it with my old smoker(no power) to create a cooler smoking case for jerkeys and fish.  Other than that, I will check-up from time to time.  Thanks for the website and all it's great info.
