Hello to everyone. I am Doug and I live in Charlotte, NC. Found this site looking for reviews and info on smokers. I found a lot of extremely valuable information and a thread with a few members that made me want to join the community. hmmm... what else to say.. Well I am a geek and a self proclaimed redneck (which is pretty funny considering I spent most of my life in southern california). I like to hang out in the back yard burning hickory and making good eats. I am a systems engineer for a fairly large tech company and by day I wear funny clothes with buttons on the shirt and slacks and stuff (i refuse to wear a tie).
