so here is what you do.get your wing sections cut up. (i  have used legs or thighs. but wings are the best) get your grill or smoker going at about 300.

i a foil pan add 2 bottles of bbq sauce or 2 batches of jeffs sauce.(remember jeffs sauce gets better in a few days)

4 beers any kind. (flat is fine)

a bottle of louisana hot sauce or other hot sauce to taste.

2 lemon or limes juiced.

2 large onions chopped fine. but not so fine as to it going to paste.

sprinkle the wings with garlic powder and put on grill turning often for about 15 min.

move wings to foil pan with sauce and cook for 45 min.

return to grill till the sauce starts to look sticky.

return to foil pan pan with sauce and cook 45 min.

return to grill till sauce starts to look sticky.

then back in the sauce pan for 45 min.

then the final round on the grill till they are as sticky as you can get them

remember at no time do you want the sauce to burn. if the sauce in the pan starts to get to thick add more beer.

and i know i need to take pics of this. because to some people

.

but it sure makes great hot wings. keep in mind these will be hot. so you may need to adjust the heat to your liking.

The only thing I see that isn't right with the recipe is I don't like drinking flat beer!!!! And I usually need more than 4!!!

Great Recipe! I tried it out, but added some authentic powdered Red Chili from Hatch, New Mexico. It adds warmth and flavor without overpowering the meat.

I order it online from these guys: Chimayo Chile Brothers

welcome to the group. that sounds good. i have messed around adding differant things. they have never been bad. a side note: during the time they are in the sauce if you want you can turn the heat down. or have them on the colder side. i do them in a stick burner. so i just keep the temp the same. if your grill isn't big enough you can take the pan out while the wings are on the grill.

happy smoken.

This sounds really awesome!  Only problem is the heat would set me on fire.   With that said,  I'll just drink the beer!   :-)
