Hello all!

I've been lurking here for some time and soaking up the extensive knowledge, and I figured that the time has come for me to create an account and join up. I've been grilling for about 30 years now and have my technique down, but my forays into smoking have been hit and miss. My last couple of smokes were short ribs that came out fantastic and a smaller brisket that I let go a little too long. Part of the learning curve, I reckon.

I have a Masterbuilt 2 door propane smoker and I'm at the point where I'm starting to think about mods and such. As for meats, I'll smoke just about anything but I'm partial to brisket and ribs. I have signed up for Jeff's 5 day e-course and just received the first part, which I'll be reading this evening as I sip an adult beverage.
