Central New Jersey
Hello, I'm Russ from central NJ.  I am new to Smokin Q but i believe i have found the right place.  I purchased a Brinkman Elec Smoker as a gift from my wife for fathers day  Have smoked ribs, chicken, pork butt, turkey breast, sausage, some with better success than others.  Installed a temp gauge, and just purchased a variable speed router control to help with temps.  Smoked a 5.5lb turkey breast yesterday and it tasted like an ash try,  been having a few problems with the correct smoke amount, tried wet/dry/chunks/chips/foil/smoker box/ all with different degrees a success, but just hav'nt been able to get the the blue smoke or a good smoke ring just yet.  Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks
