Went into a farm store to look around . Was on my way out the door

Seen this smoker . Seen the price . Grab it and out the door I went.

the worker at the store said we also get 10% of the clearance price !!!!!!

so price was $62.99 . Do I Need another smoker ? NO !!!

but can't pass this up. Will need to do some mod. to it

here the tray in the main body for charcoal.

fire box. no need for the door on the side so will close it off

the bottom is this tray that slide out . I will close it off so air won't

get in from the bottom.

this is the ash tray for the charcoal in the fire box.

will replace it with a charcoal basket.

got a cover for it.

also got 10% off the cover

here two of my smoker. My UDS is in the shed. and a cheap

gas grill and my ECB smoker is behind the two smokers.

Have you had a chance to try it out yet? I stopped by TS today and they had one of these on hand for the same price. I didn't have much time to look at it, but it seemed kind of chincy. Not sure what to expect for that price I suppose. I would be good to know how it works or if it's worth the price with some mods.

it is made cheap. Not worth the $200 they was selling it for. I think its worth $63 I gave for it.
I will be doing a lot of mods. to it before I use it for first time. Thinking about making it into a reverse flow. All the steel that i need I will get for free from work. :yahoo: (cut to size and any bend I need done to them )

Just a suggestion...with the way that the adjustable charcoal grate is designed, it lends itself to being a natural diffuser.  You may want to try just throwing some lava rock on it, and add a baffle plate by the firebox if too much heat is radiating in.  Cheap mods + cheap smoker = winning!

Not a bad idea.
