I've been lurking here for about 18 months and finally created an account last fall... Started with a MES 30 last year and got a MES 40 for Christmas! This forum has taught me nearly everything I know about smoking and it’s been a real pleasure, I've even got a friend smoking now! Anyway, I've mostly stuck to butts and an occasional rack of ribs, but last weekend I made pork chops and took a couple pictures. They turned out tender, juicy and delicious! A perfect sweet/heat flavor.
Picked them up on the way home, so no time for an overnight rub...
225* for about 2:15 with apple and a little hickory
Rubbed lightly with a general BBQ rub, a spicy rub, a little chipotle pepper and some dark brown sugar.
