Hey everyone!  My name is Brandon and I live in the Las Vegas area.  I'm 27 years old and am a fish biologist.  I've been smoking for about 4 years now and following these forums for about 5 months.  It's incredible the amount of info I've gained from this site already.  I got my first smoker for xmas 4 years ago, just a Brinkman vertical water smoker.  It's cheap and simple but it puts out some nice smoked meat.  After reading the smoker build forums I built myself a wooden smokehouse a couple months ago.  I will post some pics eventually.  So far I've only smoked cheese, ribs, and jerky in the smokehouse.  In the ol' Brinkman I've smoked ribs, tri-tip, chicken, turkey, jerky, cheese, and peppers.  I'm wanting to start smoking sausage and bacon in the smokehouse.  Luckily this site has tons of info on smoking just about anything edible, so I'm looking forward to trying new things learned from this site.  Anyways, I've rambled enough.

Happy Smoking Everyone!

First off welcome to SMF there Brandon. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
