Found a nice double slab bag of ribs at Sav-a-lot and figured we do them for the holiday weekend. Got the smoke at 225º and after throwing some MDM Rub along with some Mesquite rub (sat in fridge overnight) threw them on the smoker. Using Cherry and Oak for the wood.
After 3 1/2 hours and an occasional spritz of Apple juice/Makers Mark, headed for the foil.
Only gave them about 1 1/2 hours in the foil.
Extremely juicy. From here I place them on a hot grill (ala Al) for around 20 minutes or so. Also slathered on some Blue Front Bar-b-que sauce. Was hoping to get a little more bite from the ribs, but still very tender, with some parts wanting to fall off the bone.
Didn't get any complaints any way and the wife loved them.
