I ordered a whole hog last week, slaughtered on Monday of last week. Marinaded it Friday with some injections. Unfortunately a storm blew down how water powered rotissoire... And the next storm bent the spit bar I was gonna use.. My question is can I leave it in the bag (not freezer, just the trash bag I wrapped it in) and throw it in my deep freezer. I just don't have time or anything big enough to cook it today. I hate to waste a 50lb pig... Sigh . Thanks for any advice!
