Hey yo! My names Nate and I'm excited to be a member of the SMF team. One of my biggest passions is being outdoors and especially hunting. But what to do with all that venison? Smoke it of course! I've only been smoking meats for a short time and I use a horizontal offset smoker. Just this week I picked up a first generation MES 40 electric smoker and I can't wait to fire that bad boy up. My first smoke is going to be a venison pastrami! I'm starting to get into sausage making and would like to venture into curing meats as well! I have so much to learn and can't wait to progress my smoking skills.
