Gotta love em! I've been using these for almost 2 years and I'm a happy camper. The reason for this post is because last weekend I dropped one of them in my grease bucket that was 3/4 full of water and 1/4 full of grease! Two days later, (today) I put the batteries back in and it's working perfectly. YEA!! Also, the support is great. I cut a probe wire in half and they sent me another for about 5 bucks! The link below is a low, low price and worth every penny. I use mine each and every week and they are very accurate and TOUGH!!

Gotta say, I liked the older metal wire than the plastic covered one they use now.

I have four of these and haven't had any complaints. However, recently they have been reading low even with the boiling water test. Not sure if the probes are going bad or batteries getting low.

Now I have serval differant kind myself and they all work really good and they test (the most important part) out the same no more then 1 degree off from each other.
