The knowledge and friendly vibe drew me in to this site. Thank you for adding me. I jumped into smoking in a big way when my son requested bbq ribs for his grad party two years ago. On a borrowed custom built beast we smoked 400 lbs of ribs and 70 lbs of butts. After rave reviews, the hub and a friend who built the beast gathered parts and pieces for our custom cooker. An old boat trailer and a 500 gallon propane tank were turned into our new toy. Once our MN snowdrifts melt, I will add photos. So looking forward to getting it out of the shed...a sure sign of spring! I look forward to great advice from this group as I venture into making bacon and other new challenges. My three favorite things are great coffee, good wine, and quality Q!
