anyone

Has anyone used a sealer marinade attachment. they say it will cut your marinating time.

I'm planning on doing some Beef jerky.

If your talking about the foodsaver marinade containers, yes they work very well. It will cut the time down a lot. The downside is they aren't very big & don't hold much meat. I have 3 of them & use them for chicken wings most of the time. They also work well for steak. I'm sure if you are only doing a small amount of jerky they will work well for you.

the foodsaver containers was exactly what I was talking about.

can you give me a approximate time cut, if I get it close I can adjust from there.

Thanks

Jim

Not to jump on my friend Al's toes, but for jerky, you can be ready in an hour or two with the vac marinating container. I have one as well. The only reason I have not used it more is it is too small to feed my family...JJ

Thanks for the information. I was only going to use it for jerky mainly because of the size. Ill probably try to get at least one more so I can do a larger batch if this one turns out. the one I have will probably work for the (don't laugh) 1.5 London broil I picked up on sale 2.99 a lb. I should have got a couple more. Ill probably use rubs for larger items. The recipe I saw marinated his 5 lb. of jerky for 2 days in the refer. If I can get buy over night that would be great.

For sure overnight will work. Still a big time saver...JJ
