I have been using an offset smoker for the last six years had great success with it. Time to move on,the bottom of the fire box has rotted out. Went to purchase a master built 40" gas smoker had to get rain check Field and Stream were out first day of sale $159.00 no wonder at that price it's to good to pass up. Seems all are happy with this smoker except for chip pan no biggie. I will post more when I pick it up.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome to the board! I'm running an offset and so far it's holding up.

Yesterday it was salmon over cherry, smoked and then stashed in the freezer for a pepper festival this weekend.
