I made my first fattie today. I had a bit of a problem rolling it, but I did go by what was on the forum. I figure I will just need to practice a bit. I made a pizza fattie, it has pepperoni, canadian bacon, pizza sauce, and two types of cheeses. It was so good, but I was only able to eat about 3/4 of a piece, it is extremely rich (I suppose rich is the closest thing I could find). Unfortunately I do not have any pics for queview. I am heading outside now to pull out the jerky I made. I really hope that worked out as well as the fattie did.

Only 3/4 of a piece??? That will change if you hang out here long enough...

The Fattie's are quite filling there's alot of meat one of those things. Don't worry cause that just means you'll be eating on it for awhile. There's a silver lining to that cloud. Great job.

Well the slice was about and inch thick. I don't do well with a lot of grease. I did get a second piece that was cut much thinner. Unfortunately my roommate ate all of the left overs. I cannot stand skinny people that can eat like that and not gain any weight. My next two fatties have been decided. My husband wants a breakfast fattie and I want to make a burrito fattie with refried beans, cheese, onions and seasonings. Jerky turned out pretty good too. I have to say it was a good job on both for my first try.

To cut down on the grease you can always slightly heat the pepperoni and dab it with paper towels to remove all that excess grease pepperoni adds, or you could have given turkey pepperoni a try.
I did a burrito fattie a while back, well it was for my brother so I siad what the hell...Just bought a taco bell burrito and rolled it up. I was surprised at how well it actually came out.

Ahhh yes the Taco Bell Burrito Fattie. I'll never forget when you first posted that thing. I laughed for a good long time before I thought Hmmmm that might actually be good.

I gotta say though that the breakfast fattie is one of my favorites. Here's a Chorizo Fattie I did

then there's the sweet and savory Apples and Pancake Fattie

Here's a different Chorizo Fattie with a good tutorial on rolling. You'll get better with some practice.

Now next time, don't forget the qview. We have a little saying around here...no qview, never happened.

The Dude beat me to the punch on the "No q-view, never happened" quote. Nice fattie, though! You'll get the hang of eating them, too. I generally slice them bacon width, and eat two slices warmed up for lunch.

Here are a Bratwurst Fattie

and an Omelet Fattie

I made for the throwdown Sunday. Details of them forthcoming!
