I'm not really a Tech-Idiot, but I am impatient. So, it took me a few tries to get this far. I live about 20 miles outside of Nashville, TN. I've been making Beef Jerky for at least twenty yrs, but I use a Dehydrator rather than a Smoker. I've owned & used a Smoker a lot, just not for my Jerky. Anyway, I gave my Smoker away & now use my Charcoal Grill & Smoke Chips if I want to smoke. I read, for the first time, about #1 Cure on this website. So I ordered & received it today, and picked up five lbs of Beef cut perfectly by my Butcher. I'm ready to marinade the next two days, then Dehydrate after that. So, glad to gave found this website & forum. Thank you for being here!
