Davy Crockett tailgater

  1. Hello. Thank you everyone who aided in on my search for my next toy. I ended up getting the Davy Crockett tailgater. It's the coolest little grill/smoker. I turned it up to 520 and it held temp for at least an hour. What I like most Is I can use it on my long nights out cat fishing! For the chicken I used a kosher salt, orange juice, and various spice blend. Here are a few pics. Hope everyone enjoys. Happy Smokin!!

Haven't seen that smoker before. Does it use pellets? Nice looking legs too. (Chicken legs) [IMG]

  5. Yes its pellet fueled. The wifi app is pretty awesome. I set a profile for drum sticks and added 2 steps for the profile. I wsnted it to turn up the heat once internal temp hit 140 so it went from 220 for smoking then automatically adjusted the temp up to 325. Im completrly impressed with It. Well worth the money!! Thanks for the compliment!!
