I am living in nothern Utah.  I recently purchaced a 40in Masterbuilt smoker.  I am pretty good with a grill, but wanted to try smoking.  I love smoked foods.  I was born in Montana and my Father is from Texas. I am hoping to smoke a ton of pork shoulder and ribs this summer.  I have an awsome chicken recipe I always wanted to try smoked.  Any advice for someone new to the smoking world is appriciated.  I would eventually like to get the cold smoking kit and smoke some cheeses and fish.  Maybe make up some deer or elk jerky.
