Well you caught my interest, unfortunately I'm at work and can't access the link.

Not sure how many are left, but they are going fast. Glad to see they are remembered. My wife just lost her step father last week. He was a member of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. He was decorated for bravery for his part in the battle on Hill 667 in the Kapyong River valley Korea in April 1951. For this battle the Princess Pats and the 3rd Royal Australian Regiment, are the only 2 non US Regiments to ever receive the United States Presidential Citation for Bravery.

There are far to few left who remember the great fights. There are fewer still who will step up today to fight again, most will sit back and say let someone else do it.

To those who have fought before and will fight again, a heartfelt thank you and a salute.

Thanks for the link Rich. Very touching and very true. We owe a lot to the men and women who have fought for our country and are still fighting today. Without their courage and sacrifice things would be a lot different than they are today. God Bless them one and all.

Rich,
Thanks for the post. I'm forwarding it to my friends. I really really believe it's important to remember. Seems here lately, we are moving away from some of the more important things in our lives.

Indeed... My grandfather, 2 uncles and father all served in conflicts, and all are gone now. I do remember stories told so as not to offened or scare me, because I heard some of the real versions of them later in life. A great generation indeed.
