Bbq Chix Pizza W/ Q-view

    Decided to make a bbq chicken pizza with last nights leftover smoked chicken.
    Normally I make my own pizza dough but was pressed for time today,so I went with the pilsbury womp pizza dough. Ingredients are:

    2 pilsbury pizza crusts
    8oz pizza blend cheese
    2oz pepper cheese
    2oz cheddar cheese
    bbq sauce (I used almost a whole bottle of Jack Daniels bbq sauce)
    1/2 diced red onion
    banana peppers
    1 pound of bacon, sliced and cooked about half way
    2 pounds of smoked chicken diced

    Spread out the 2 crusts on a half sheet pan, sealed together crusts and added bbq sauce.

    Then the smoked chix.

    Then the cheeses and bacon.

    Finally onions and peppers.

    Out of the oven.

    On the plate.

    I played it safe and cooked in the oven at 425* for around 25-30 minutes.
    I thought about doing it in the smoker, probably would have to precook the crust if you cant get the smoker up to 425+ degrees. But between the smoked chicken,bacon, and bbq sauce, it tastes pretty smoky as is.

    That looks great. I don't make homemade pizza nearly enough. Was at a comp last summer and one of the contestants let us try his smoked pizza with homemade crust, homemade andouille sausage and homemade sauce. Said he forgot his homemade mozzrella. He was a chef from a large resort (forget which one), best pizza I ever had, good smoke flavor.

    Nice job! I'll have to modify the crust due to my wheat allergy, but I bet those fixins will cover up the so-so crust!
