My wife wanted carne asada tacos and ceviche so I said sure I haven't had that in a while but I got a recipe from JustPassingThru for Poisson Cru

and decided to make that instead of ceviche.

Along with the carne asada I had to make some homemade guacamole (I hated guacamole until I made it myself and now I love it, I guess I always just had bad pre-made stuff)
Marinated a flank steak I cut in half (I like it better with skirt steak but I couldn't find any) in lime juice, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, jalapenos (couldn't find serranos and mine are not ready to pick yet), oregano, and cumin. I flipped the meat several times while it was in the fridge.
Made some guacamole with avocado, s & p, jalapenos (again no serranos), cayenne, red onion, tomato, cumin, cilantro, and lime juice.
Grilled the steak on my electric grill (that I won in a raffle) along with a bell pepper
On a grilled flour tortilla with sliced steak and guacamole (I normally do more but felt like keeping it simple, plus I was more excited to try the poisson cru)
Everything was great and I get to eat it all again for dinner tonight.
Thanks for looking!
