Found you a couple weeks ago after picking up a Lg BGE at the Eggs on the Beach festival. Look forward to learning more about the egg and smoking.

Oh and the normal ? is everyone nice in Niceville not even going there.

Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.

I'm heading up that way to work in eglin in a couple of weeks. Welcome to the greatest smoking forum on the internet. Lots of smart people here that know everything about cooking in general not only about smoking meats.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

Brooksy Hope weather gets back to normal before you get up here, today low 40's and blowing 20-25 mph. Going into mid 20's tonight could a new record low for us, not cold by some folks on here but darn cold for a old Fl boy.

I retired from civil service at Eglin  23 years in LRS.

I'm expecting it to be cold that's for sure. We've been working on the storm water runoff pipes for the last couple of years on the base. We were there a few months ago as well. I was cooking on the mini in the hotel parking lot

Thanks for the welcome from the forum another Fl Boy for the  welcome. Had to pick the last of the Jalapeno's Sunday and made Cowboy Candy before the 25 deg's last night wiped out the last of the peppers and Thai/Sweet Basil's.
