My brother and I talk about this all the time.  However, for us, it was the snorks, gummy bears, Smurfs, and then a few sci-fi type cartoons.  My poor nieces don't know what the Flintstones are, Jetsons, or any other the others mentioned.  Also, what happened to ABC's great lineup on Friday nights?

IF I ever have kids they will be forced to watch the old time cartoons.

This was a favorite.

6 AM Eastern Cartoon Network has Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, a mix of the classics and newer stuff done after the death of Mel Blanc.

    Boy do I know....

After raising one and now G-parenting two more,I'm lost! I can't even watch my game shows when the Kids are around,it's Stupid Dog and Anime stuff(and what's with all that pointy head and hair stuff.

And why so much emphisis on killing? This generation is on a way different track than I would of guessed could even happen.LORD help us and get some good stuff back like,Bradys,Flintstones and so on...

Maybe it is as adults,we aren't giving the time to the kids that we need to?If left to me,there would be only News on the T.V. and fewer weapon like toys for them to play with and stretch thier imagination in other ways.

A little less ,"Oh,they are Kids" and alot more red Butts(the kid kind).
