Hi all just getting started smoking. Will be using electric smoker and want to season it. Figure I will coat inside with oil and crank her up on high for about 2 hre or longer mabye throw some wood chips in to get some smoke rolling. The book says i can dry smoke or wet smoke but when seasoning should I add water to the wood chip pan? Any other tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated. I love this site thanks for taking me on as a member.
