Newbie here

Hi all just getting started smoking. Will be using electric smoker and want to season it. Figure I will coat inside with oil and crank her up on high for about 2 hre or longer mabye throw some wood chips in to get some smoke rolling. The book says i can dry smoke or wet smoke but when seasoning should I add water to the wood chip pan? Any other tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated. I love this site thanks for taking me on as a member.

Welcome to the SMF. No need to use water in the pan when you season the cabinet. Good luck my friend.

Welcome I hope you're talking about drag racing not the other drag. I work fire/safety for NHRA and drive a '95 van ness rail at 170+ too yup folks i smoke rubber and meat lmao!
