Well we had some issues drilling this well and now working through the holidays. Go figure murphy's law. So posted this here, not sure where to put this one.
Anyway we did up the last brisket of this yr for the boys and smoked / baked a couple maple bourbon pecan pies on the pitboss. It was a 20#, trimmed and SPOG, I ended up wrapping the brisket on this one to try that and liked the turn out. juicy and moist. Pulled it at 201 probably could have at 198 but was side tracked. Work always seems to get in the way out here lol.

My favorite part though had to be the pies. It was a store bought crust, Just not set up to do that out here this go around.

It turned out to be a nice treat for the boys. Thx for looking.

Nice looking brisket and pies Charlie. Sorry about your not being home for the holidays that's a bummer.

Point for sure.
