Hi y'all!!

I have always loved eatin Q. I would like to learn how to do it myself now. I am completely unknowing about smoking meat but am ready to dive in and learn to do it....often!! What style of smoker is the best to start out with? Gas, Charcoal, or Electric?

I am glad that I have found this forum and look forward to all the insight, education, and experience that will come from it.

Glad you joined us smokinrodder! :welcome1: from North Dakota!
A 22.5" Weber kettle will do just about anything when you learn its many functions. You can grill direct or indirect, smoke, etc. Plus there are many accessories that can be added to make it even more multifunctional; rotisserie, pizza oven, GrillGrates or cast iron grates and Cajun Injector makes a body kit to make it function like a Weber Smokey Mountain. Just a great peice of outdoor cooking equipment that if taken care should last a lifetime!
